Will this resale make money after fees?
Enter what you paid, what you expect it to sell for and your marketplace's fee. You get the profit, the return on what you spent, and the lowest price you can sell for without losing money.
This works for any marketplace because you enter its fee. It is a planning estimate, not a guarantee of what an item will sell for.
Profit statement, per sale
Enter a sale price, what you paid and the marketplace fee percentage to see the statement. Check that every box holds a plain number like 24.99.
How it is worked out
Profit is the sale price minus the percentage fee, any fixed fee, shipping, packaging and what you paid. Return on cost is profit divided by what you paid. The break-even price is the sale price at which profit is zero, rounded up to the next cent. Sales tax, returns and advertising are not included.
