Is that barcode number typed correctly?
A mistyped digit sends a barcode search to the wrong product, or to none. Paste a UPC, EAN or GTIN to check its last digit, or enter the digits without it to work the check digit out.

Type or paste a barcode number to check it.
How the check digit works
Starting from the digit next to the check digit and moving left, multiply the digits alternately by 3 and 1 and add them up. The check digit is the number that brings the total up to the next multiple of 10. UPC-A (12 digits), EAN-13 (13 digits), EAN-8 (8 digits) and GTIN-14 all use the same rule. A UPC-A is the same as an EAN-13 with a leading zero. Short UPC-E codes are a compressed form and are not checked here.
